Yes, the LLC is registered in the state of Delaware, USA and in the Republic of Zambia. The official names of the company are:
- Globais Co-op Zambia LLC in Delaware
- Globais Investment Zambia Ltd
How were these names chosen for the company
The name Global Co-op Zambia was among the three options that were put up for selection by all prospective members (WhatsApp group members). The group voted for the chosen name. During registration in Zambia, we had to look for an alternative for ‘Global’ as it was already taken. The word ‘Globuis’ means Global in Latin.
What kind of entity is the company registered as?
In Delaware the company is registered as a Limited Liability Company with a commencement date of 1 January 2022.
In Zambia we are registered as Incorporated as Limited company under PACRA
Why is the Company registered in Delaware?
The company is registered in Delaware for the group to take advantage of the many opportunities that exist in the USA. These include favourable regulations as well as financial advantages as we aim to raise funds for our various investment plans.
What exactly is this company going to be investing in?
