What We Do
Globo Multi-Purpose Co-operative Society is an investment vehicle set up by Zambians in the Diaspora, specifically to mitigate some of the impediments mentioned above, especially the shortage of financial capital to facilitate selected development programs.
Our Approach
Globo MCS is registered with the Registrar of Societies in Zambia. The registration is in form of a co-operative to allow for the mass participation of Zambians at home and abroad to benefit from good investment incentives that are aimed at rejuvenating the economy.
Our Mission
The business opportunity is to set up an investment vehicle in form of a co-operative that will invest in projects in selected high social-impact areas of the Zambian economy.
Membership is open to every Zambian — at home or abroad.

Our diversification ambitions.
As the Society grows in membership and assets under management, our long-term ambition is to broaden the portfolio beyond Government bonds and to invest in high-social-impact sectors of the Zambian economy. The sectors the Board has identified as priority targets for future diversification are:
- Mining
- Agri-business
- Energy
- Real Estate
- Financial Services
- Other viable ventures
Globo MCS has not yet made any investments in the sectors listed. Any move beyond Government bonds will be made only after (a) approval by the Board of Directors and the membership in accordance with the By-Laws, (b) the Society obtaining any regulatory clearances that may be required (including, where applicable, from the Securities and Exchange Commission), and (c) the public.
