How is communication in the company managed
There are 2 main communication channels currently in use; Zoom meetings and WhatsApp. Regular Zoom meetings are scheduled by the interim organizing committee. The meetings are used for general updates and knowledge sharing opportunities. The WhatsApp group is also a regular communication medium where all members interact daily. We also have a website www.globalcoopzambia.com for further information.
How do I share my investment ideas with the group?
All members are welcome to share investment ideas on the current WhatsApp group. We also have regular meetings where ideas are shared among the group. As we develop more communication platforms like our website, we will also be able to use that platform to share ideas.
Have we considered any ideas for investment?
On the launch, we will be unveiling our first Investment Initiative. This will be phase one of our strategy, raising funds in low-risk, high return portfolios e.g., Treasury Bills. Our goal is to raise US$1 million dollars in the first year. Yes, we can do it.
In the second phase, we will begin to diversify our investments. All investments will be stringently examined by our investment advisors, and they will be open for discussions with the members

As this is a business group, members are requested to refrain from posting irrelevant information as it distracts from important updates related to the cooperative
The WhatsApp group is full, how do new people join?
Yes, the WhatsApp is full due to the group limit. Please note that the organizing committee will create a new group on either WhatsApp or Telegram as people pay their membership fees. The cooperative will also have an official website where members will be able to register, pay and keep updated on cooperative matters.
How are we going to protect ourselves from online scammers?

The current global environment requires us all to be more vigilant to stay protected against cyber-attacks and scammers. The company takes online safety very seriously and will take every precaution to ensure the safety of our members. Should you have any reason to suspect online/cyber threats, please reach out to any of the interim committee members. |

What We Do
Globo Multi-Purpose Co-operative Society is an investment vehicle set up by Zambians in the Diaspora, specifically to mitigate some of the impediments mentioned above, especially the shortage of financial capital to facilitate selected development programs.
Our Approach
Because the larger participation and membership is in North America, Global Co-op Zambia (GCZ) is a Delaware Incorporated Company (S-corporation) and is also registered in Zambia as Globo Multi-Purpose Co-operative Society and the United States of America for ease of business. The registration in Zambia is in form of a co-operative to allow for the mass participation of local Zambians and at the same time benefits from the new Government investment incentives that are aimed at rejuvenating the economy.
Our Mission
The business opportunity is to set up an investment vehicle in form of a co-operative that will invest in projects in selected high social-impact areas of the Zambian economy.
